Fireboard Stencils bring a colonial theme to your fireplace
setting! In Early American homes, wooden fireboards
were used to cover fireplaces when openings were not in use, typically from
spring to fall. They served to keep insects out of the home, and they
provided a decorative accent. This catalog features designs
appropriate for stenciling on fireboards, such as woven baskets
filled with flowers, pineapples, weeping willow
trees, shaker tree of life, or vases with floral bunches.
Fireboard stencil design range from very primitive and simplistic in keeping
with an historical and colonial themed fireboard to realistic designs.
