Compass rose
and nautical star designs are a wonderful addition
to any nautical stenciling project.
The compass rose has appeared on charts and maps since the 1300's. The term
"rose" comes from the figure's compass points resembling the petals of the
well-known flower.
Choose
from simple 6-point nautical starburst designs or detailed compass
rose stencils with North,
East, South,
West directional
letters included.
Nautical starburst designs are available in sizes of 4", 8", 20"
and 30" high, and in 6, 8, and 16 point designs. Compass rose designs,
featuring letter indicators of N, E, S, W, are available in sizes
of 7", 7.3”, 8.5"
and 18" high. An historic geometric 4 point star within a circle,
originally created in the early 1700's to simulate an inlaid wood design in
a foyer or under a table, is also available in sizes of 3 feet, 5 feet, and
6 feet in diameter.
